Our History
Cascade View Community Credit Union was
chartered in September of 1937 for employees of Willamette-Hyster
Company in Portland, Oregon and Peoria, Illinois. Over the years
we have added several of the dealer/sales offices of Hyster
Company throughout the United States and other small employee
groups in the Portland area. When we moved into the Montgomery
Park building in 1988 we added the tenants of the building who
did not already have access to a credit union.
In October of 1995, we merged with Trucking Industry Employees
Credit Union and added the member companies of the Oregon
Trucking Association and the Oregon Petroleum Marketers
Association.
In 2003 we became a community
credit union which means that anyone who lives, works or belongs
to an organization in Multnomah or Clackamas Counties can now
become a member.
Through our toll free phone number, mail, fax machine and 24
hour touch tone teller system, we try to be responsive to
members both near and far.
